Yet again another high-profile company has been hacked – on this occasion MoonPig.com
PaulsBlog an excellent resource for explaining why sites are vulnerable exposed a very basic security error. It looks like another company that grew from modest to impressive without investing in Cyber-Security and ICT architecture.
This is a warning to all companies, have your sites reviewed for vulnerabilities, and if you are storing personal data or card/financial details get a Pen (Penetration) Test done. Just ask if you would like some recommendations for companies to to help you.
