DocumentationTaking away the strain of writing policies and documents in-house
If you do not have the skills, time or knowledge in-house to write policies, procedures and documents, let us take away the strain.
There are many other more relaxing and enjoyable ways to pass your time than writing policy documents or outlining GDPR audit requirements. Policies are a critical and important tool which can deliver a wide range of benefits and we can help you implement them.
As Information Governance specialists, we always recommend that there is a minimum of the following policies in place:
- Data Protection Policy
- Email and or Direct Marketing Guidance or Policy
- Information Governance Training Policy
- Subject Access and Breach Reporting Policy
- Security Policy
It makes great business sense
As well as being part of your legal duty to have policies in place, they make really good business sense too. Policies focus the mind and allow collaboration from all parties in the chain, including managers, administrators, volunteers, strategic partners and actual data processors.
Identify solutions before they become problems
Most organisations live in a hectic and fast-paced environment with change taking place frequently and rapidly. The simple process of writing a policy is a tremendously powerful mechanism that is very worthwhile to make. A policy forces you to consider, in detail, each element of a process and assess if the process is fit-for-purpose. This often helps to raise anomalies and easily identify their solutions.
Show your clients that you care
Clear policies and guidance demonstrate to clients the importance you place on the protection of their data. In the event of a data breach, clear policies will also be one part of the mitigation and defence against any legal action.
If you do not have the time to audit, create or review your policies, just get in touch, we will take away your headache and give you the time to do the things you actually enjoy.Contact us About us
