Course Booking Terms & Conditions


Griffin House Consultancy Ltd will be referred to as GHC or Griffin House

The client is the legal entity of the organisation or individual with whom the contract is made/or for whom the order is placed.


Full payment for the course must be received at least three working days prior to the day of delivery of the course. By completing and submitting the booking form to GHC, you are confirming that you are authorised to place the order, and your intention for you/your colleagues to attend the specified course, and will be liable for payment.

Where circumstances beyond the control of GHC occur, for example, illness and acts of God, including under-subscription of Learners to the course, GHC reserves the right to cancel or postpone the course. In such circumstances, if already paid, a full refund of course fees will be made, or the offer to transfer to another course, of a similar value, will be offered.

No responsibility is accepted for incidental or consequential loss resulting from such cancellation. It is highly recommended that no hotel or transport fees, or costs are incurred prior to final confirmation of the venue being advised by GHC, together with confirmation that the course will run.

Learner cancellations

  1. Over and including the 28th calendar day before the course
    – full refund less a 25% administration fee
  2. Within 15 – 27 calendar days for the course
    – 50% of the fee will be payable, or the learner may transfer to another course of a similar value (*fee applicable)
  3. Within 2 – 14 calendar days before the course
    – the whole course fee will be payable.
    Note: the Learner or Delegate may nominate a substitute to take their place, but this substitution, and notification, cannot be made in the last working day prior to the course date.


An alternate Learner may be substituted at any time, but this must done at least 2 working days prior to the course date. New booking forms must be completed but no charge, in addition to the above fees, will be made.


Transfers to an alternate venue and date are possible, subject to availability of places, and providing the courses of the same value. A standard transfer fee of £50 will apply.

If the transfer to a course of a higher value was requested then an invoice for the difference in fees will be issued. The transfer cannot take place in the last 14 days leading up to an event as the attendance of the learner may have been taken into account when considering the viability of the course.


The venue will be conformed no later than three working days before the event.

Please note, whilst most venues are centrally located within the town specified, occasionally some more popular venues will be on the outskirts of a city. GHC are not be liable for any additional fees incurred using or travelling to the venue, specifically, but no limited to, overnight hotel costs, pre-booking of train fares, taxi fares etc.
