The Challenge
As a trusted local charity, Nottingham Hospitals Charity takes its data protection obligations extremely seriously. As a small team, and with the new General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) coming into force in 2018, it became clear external expertise would be needed to guide the charity through this process and be on hand to answer any questions along the way.
The Solution
Nottingham Hospitals Charity commissioned Griffin House Consultancy to support its work and help ensure GDPR compliance in all the charity’s activities.
After delivering an initial wholeteam GDPR training session, Griffin House Consultancy have remained on hand to offer their expertise and advice.
Their team supports with tasks such as checking through third party contracts and Data Processing Agreements to ensure GDPR compliance, and suggesting appropriate amendments.
The Outcome
Staff at Nottingham Hospitals Charity feel more confident about the organisation’s GDPR responsibilities as a result of the training session, and are reassured to know that the team at Griffin House Consultancy remains on hand to support with day-to-day questions and
support.
The team at Griffin House Consultancy is extremely helpful, knowledgeable, reliable and professional. It’s reassuring to know we have that expertise on hand whenever we need it, and we always receive a quick and helpful response.”
